Looking for calm, safety, or peace in your life?

Anxiety in the United States is on the rise. The National Institute for Mental Health estimates that "An estimated 19.1% of U.S. adults had an anxiety disorder in the past year" and 31.1% of adults in the United States will qualify for an anxiety diagnosis at one point in their life. The cost of chronic anxiety is great. Our mental health, relationships, activities, and our bodies suffer consequences. Many don't know that they are anxious until they begin experiencing medical symptoms. There is hope and mental health treatment for anxiety has a high success rate.

For those who are interested in individual therapy, my treatment approach is tailored to your unique needs and incorporates research-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment theories, EMDR (Eye movement and desensitization reprocessing), and mindfulness techniques. While treatment approaches are important, feeling safe and like you have a voice is the most important part of therapy. I look to provide a safe space where you can come as you are to work through your fears.

I also offer a number of anxiety workshops and therapeutic groups in Austin throughout the year.
